For the first time, we've managed not to get sick after Phee's been sick. A huge success in my book, especially since the latest thing was a nasty virus with a sore throat and high fever.
It all started last Monday afternoon and she ended up being out of school for the rest of the week. And we were at the doctor's office Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday. Between Wednesday's appointment and our spur of the moment visit late Thursday because of her sudden lethargy, the poor kid had developed a double ear infection. Luckily, after a couple doses of the meds, she was feeling much better Saturday morning. And by this morning, she was more than ready to get back to her normal schedule and go back to school.
In other news, Doug and I are exhausted after last week. Not that that's news.
