I'm on vacation in Seattle this weekend. We were definitely ready for a break. We're visiting family for a long weekend and we're having a good time so far.
If you've never been to Seattle, I already recommend it. The weather so far is rainy and cool- perfect for my tastes. Good coffee, interesting architecture and great little neighborhoods to explore.
I won't have a regular blog post on Monday, but definitely check my photo page. I plan on making good use of Instagram!
Seattle is beautiful! I lived there for a year after law school and loved it SOOOO much. Mostly for the food, the climbing, and the excellent beer. The only thing I didn't like is that culturally, it was not very kid-friendly. Lots of dirty looks when out and about with my then-toddler son, lots of dudes letting doors slam onto my stroller and what not.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving it so far. It's been really nice weather. I was looking forward to rain and overcast, but this is easier for taking a toddler around. Great coffee, that's for sure!
